AIDS Awareness Week 2024, hosted by Enactus Jesus and Mary College, was a heartfelt three-day initiative aimed at breaking stigma, busting myths, and building empathy around HIV/AIDS. With a blend of creative expression, community outreach, and educational dialogue, the campaign empowered students to become changemakers of compassion and awareness.

Day 1: Myths, Facts & Frames

Activities: Myth vs Fact Board | Photography Exhibition
  • In collaboration with IRIS JMC, our “Myth vs Fact” interactive board invited participants to challenge misconceptions about HIV/AIDS using color-coded sticky notes, turning learning into an eye-opening experience.
  • Parallelly, a powerful Photography Exhibition with Tabeer JMC brought to life themes like “Grit and Grace” and “Contrasts” through breathtaking student submissions, celebrating stories of resilience. Select entries were also featured online for wider impact.

Day 2: Red Ribbon Day & Campus Outreach

Activities: Awareness Campaigns | Q&A Session | Inter-College Visits
  • Students wore the iconic red ribbon in solidarity, while outreach teams visited Sri Venkateswara, ARSD, and Maitreyi College, sparking engaging conversations around HIV/AIDS awareness.
  • A live Q&A session at JMC tackled questions and misconceptions head-on, with winners receiving handcrafted soap bars by Project Iffat, promoting both hygiene and empowerment.

Day 3: Jansharnam NGO Visit

Activities: Awareness Session | Interactive Games | Soap Distribution
  • The week concluded with a heartfelt visit to Jansharnam NGO, where Enactus members led an awareness session and joyful games like Passing the Soap with children affected by HIV/AIDS.
  • Soap bars made by women of Project Iffat were gifted, symbolizing resilience, livelihood, and love.

In a powerful collaboration with Mercatus JMC, Enactus Jesus and Mary College hosted “BYOB: Build Your Own Business,” a dynamic panel discussion spotlighting three inspiring entrepreneurs:

  • Mr. Amit Bagga

    Co-Founder, Daryaganj

    Sharing the origin story of Daryaganj, Mr. Bagga emphasized the importance of authenticity and minimalism in building a lasting brand. His reflections on the Shark Tank India experience captivated the audience, offering real-world insights into pitching and scaling a business.

  • Mr. Armaan Mehta

    Co-Founder, TraqCheck

    Drawing from his academic journey at UCLA and his work with TraqCheck, Mr. Mehta provided an honest look at the leap from campus to co-founder. His session was a masterclass in innovation, risk-taking, and adaptability.

  • Mr. Debojit Sen

    Founder, Crack-ED

Advitya 3.0 – The Annual Flagship Event

Overview

In a vibrant display of innovation and collaboration, Enactus Jesus and Mary College hosted Advitya 3.0, its annual flagship event, on the 20th and 21st of February 2025 as part of Montage. The two-day event brought together exceptional talent from across colleges, offering a platform to showcase entrepreneurial thinking, strategic problem-solving, and sustainable innovation.

With over 12 finalist teams and a total prize pool of ₹15,000, Advitya 3.0 featured two key competitions—Vichaar and Chakravyuh—each designed to test participants’ creativity, analytical skills, and ability to think on their feet.


Highlights from the Event

Vichaar 20th February 2025

A case competition dedicated to promoting innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • EnactHunt
    The event began with EnactHunt, an engaging online treasure hunt featuring 10–12 intriguing clues. Teams showcased teamwork, logic, and quick thinking to advance through levels, with the best performers moving forward.
  • Deck Submission
    Selected teams were then given a sustainability-focused challenge and submitted concise 5-slide decks outlining their solutions. Entries were assessed on relevance, innovation, feasibility, and research, with top ideas shortlisted for the Campus Finale.
  • Campus Finale
    The finale featured powerful presentations before a distinguished jury comprising Mr. Sarvesh Sharma, Director at Longview Research and Advisory Services, and Mr. Akhil Jain, Business Leader at Paytm Group.
    Teams presented their strategies in 10-minute slots followed by an engaging Q&A session. Judges evaluated participants on innovation, execution, and presentation quality. The day concluded with a felicitation ceremony to honor the winners, judges, and sponsors.

Chakravyuh 21st February 2025

A dynamic three-round competition testing participants’ strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Online Riddle Round
    Conducted on Unstop, this round featured a series of analytical business riddles designed to challenge logical and conceptual understanding.
  • Trivia Round
    Participants competed in a lively quiz covering business, sustainability, and current affairs, setting an energetic tone for the finale.
  • Live Monopoly Game

“We weren’t just answering questions, we were changing perspectives.”The final round brought a creative twist to the competition through a Live Monopoly Simulation, where participants made real-time financial and strategic decisions. The round’s energy, audience engagement, and high-stakes gameplay made it one of the most memorable moments of the fest.
